About
The Hamilton Magicians Society is a student organization founded in 2015 at Hamilton College. The purpose of H.M.S. is to establish a community for Hamilton students who are passionate in performing magic. As magicians at Hamilton College, we have the best opportunities at H.M.S. to learn magic from each other, practice and improve performing skills.
H.M.S hosts regular meetings weekly. During regular meetings, we learn magic techniques through video tutorials. After acquiring the techniques, we practice with each other to improve the skills. Each member learns magic tricks by themselves as well and shares magic techniques, performing skills, and creative ideas with others. After practicing, H.M.S conducts on-campus performance to Hamilton College. Besides regular meetings, H.M.S invites guest speakers for lectures and organizes members to watch off-campus live magic shows.
H.M.S. is a community that consists of enthusiasts of magic. We brings surprise and joy to our audience. At the same time, we want to push the development of the art of magic.
