From the East (Albany)
Exit 31 Rt. 90 at UTICA follow Rt. 49 to Rome exit. Follow Rt 69 to South James Street, then turn left onto MUCK ROAD. Turn right after approximately one mile to Rome Rowing Center on your left.

From the West
Exit 33 at Verona and follow Rt. 365 to Rome exit - follow Rt. 69 to South James Street, then turn left onto MUCK ROAD. Turn right approximately one mile to Rome Rowing Center on your left.

From the North
Take I-87 South to Exit 9w (Rt 146 W)
Turn right off the ramp
Follow 146w through a few sets of lights (about 5 miles)
At the intersection of Blue Barnes Rd and 146w
Turn left staying on 146w (toward Rexford)
Continue straight through the light by Stewarts
Continue over the Rexford Bridge
Turn right immediately after the Bridge.

From I - 90 East and West
Merge onto I-890 W via exit number 25 toward SCHENECTADY/ RT-7/ RT-146
Merge onto NY-7 E via exit number 7 toward TROY.
Turn LEFT onto BALLTOWN RD/ NY-146.
Turn LEFT onto CR-10/ AQUEDUCT RD

From the East on New York State Thruway
Take Exit 46 and proceed North on Route 390.
Take the left lane toward the airport (West).
Exit at East Henrietta Road - turn right (North),
East Henrietta Road joins Mt. Hope Avenue.
Proceed to the intersection at Elmwood Avenue,
Look for Towne House. Turn left.
Proceed on Elmwood across the bridge over river.
Take the next left to the regatta area (100 yards).
(Look for hockey rink and pool).

From South (New York City)
Take 95N (Cross Bronx Expressway/Bruckner Expressway) to rt. 91N (this is a left exit)
Follow 91N to exit 29 (84E East Hartford / Boston)
Follow 84E to Mass. Turnpike (rt. 90E)
Follow Mass. Turnpike to exit 18 (Allston, Cambridge) - This is a left exit
Follow signs to Cambridge
Take road over the river, at the other side, make a right
Follow signs to Magazine Beach (launching area)

From the North
Follow Mass. Turnpike to exit 18 (Allston, Cambridge) - This is a left exit
Follow signs to Cambridge

From the West

From the North and the South
Take I-87 North to Exit 14 (Rt. 9P)
Turn left off the ramp (toward Saratoga Lake)
Continue over the bridge that crosses the racecourse.
Turn Left just after the bridge into the NYS Boat Launch Site

From Rt 89, Rt 96 or Rt 79
Take to Rt 13 north. Then make a left onto Third Street. There is a light at the intersection and an Aldi's grocery store on the far left corner of the intersection. After making the left onto Third Street, make another left on the first road after the railroad tracks. The Ithaca College Boathouse is at the end of this road.

From Rt 13 South
Take Rt 13 south to Third Street. There is a light at the intersection and an Aldi's grocery store on the right. Make a right onto Third Street, followed by a left on the first road after the railroad tracks. The Ithaca College Boathouse is at the end of this road.

From the West
PA Turnpike east to the Valley Forge exit. At Valley Forge, take I-76 east to Philadelphia. Stay to the left after passing the Girard Avenue Exit. Exit at I-676. Follow signs for the Ben Franklin Bridge. Go straight ahead after the tollbooth to Admiral Wilson Blvd. Do NOT bear right onto I-676. Go about one mile and then take the left branch at top of overpass. After overpass, bear right onto NJ Route 70. Go right onto Cuthbert Blvd. At first traffic light on Cuthbert Blvd., turn right onto North Park Drive. The course is on the left side of North Park Drive. Trailer-only parking is to the left.

From North or South
Exit the NJ Turnpike at Exit 4. Go right onto NJ Route 73 North. Exit from Route 73 onto NJ Route 38 West. Exit from NJ Route 38 at Cuthbert Blvd. Go south on Cuthbert Blvd. At first traffic light, turn right onto North Park Drive. The course is on the left side of North Park Drive. Trailer-only parking is to the left.

From the South
From I-95 north, follow signs to Walt Whitman Bridge. On the bridge, stay in the right lane and take the first right as you come off the bridge. Follow signs to NJ Route 130 north. Stay on Route 130 through one circle. After going under a railroad bridge, watch for the Cooper River on the right. Take the first right after passing the river (the first traffic light). This is North Park Drive. Continue for 2000 meters. Trailer parking is at the end of the course on the right.

From the North
From I-95 south, follow signs to the Betsy Ross Bridge. When you come off the bridge, follow signs to NJ Route 130 south. Stay on Route 130 for a few miles to a major intersection. Pass through the intersection still on Route 130. At the next traffic light, you want to turn left but you must exit from the right. This is North Park Drive. Continue for 2000 meters. Trailer parking is at the end of the course on the right.

Common Directions
The trailer parking area is on the south side of North Park Drive. Only trailers are to be parked here. There is a large parking lot at about the 1000 meter mark on the course. This is for cars, vans and buses.
Curbside parking is permitted in legal areas. However, the curb area along North Park Drive between the small bridge and Cuthbert Blvd. is for loading or unloading only. Others will be ticketed.

The Gilman Plate & Cup rotates between Hamilton College, Union College and St. Lawrence University. Please refer to the schedule to see at which of these locations the Gilman Plate & Cup is taking place this year.

From the South and the East
Exit NYS Thruway at exit 25. Proceed on 890 west aprox. 4 miles to exit 4b,
Erie Blvd. Proceed on Erie 0.8 of a mile to the intersection of Union St.(just past
Burger King). Take a left on Union St. and a quick right on North College St..
Follow North College to the end. Take a right and a quick left into boathouse
parking lot.

From the West
Exit NYS Thruway at exit 26. Get on 890 east (right after toll booth) and
proceed for aprox. 3.5 miles to exit 4b, Erie Blvd. Proceed on Erie Blvd. 0.7 of a
mile to the intersection of Union St.(just past Burger King). Take a left on Union St. and a quick right on North College St.. Follow North College to the end. Take a right and a quick left into the boathouse parking lot.

From the North
Exit the Northway(Rt. 87) at exit 9, Clifton Park. Proceed west on Rt. 146 to
Mohawk River, Rexford(aprox. 6-7 miles)PLEASE NOTE: Rt. 146 west makes a left
turn at an intersection with traffic light prior to crossing river(Aprox. at
mile 5). Follow signs for Rt. 146 west, Rexford. After crossing river take the
first right on Aquaduct Rd. Follow this road aprox. 3 miles. Please Note: the
road name changes to Maxon Rd. as it veers right at aprox. the second mile. At
the end of Maxon, take a left on Erie and proceed to Union St. just past the
overhead train bridge(aprox. 1 mile). Take a right on Union and a right on North College St.. Follow North College to the end. Take a right and a quick left into boathouse
parking lot.

From the East (Albany)
I-87 (the Adirondack Northway) north to exit 23, Warrensburg; Route 9 north to Route 28 to Blue Mountain Lake; Route 30 north to Tupper Lake; Route 3 West to Route 56 north; Route 56 North to Colton; Route 68 to Route 11 on outskirts of Canton; left on Route 11 at the traffic lights by Stewarts (310 N). Follow 310 N for about 11 miles to the intersection of 345 by Madrid. Turn left onto 345, follow over the bridge and into the town of Madrid. Follow 345 by turning right in town. Just out of town, be sure to follow 345 as it makes a rather abrupt left curve. Take 345 all the way into Waddington, crossing over Rt. 37 (about 10 miles). At the River, turn left onto River Road. Stay on River Road for about 2 miles and turn right when you see the Boathouse.

From Syracuse
I-81 north to exit 48 north of Watertown; Route 342 to Route 11; Route 11 north to Canton; left on Route 11 at the traffic lights by Stewarts (310 N). Follow 310 N for about 11 miles to the intersection of 345 by Madrid. Turn left onto 345, follow over the bridge and into the town of Madrid. Follow 345 by turning right in town. Just out of town, be sure to follow 345 as it makes a rather abrupt left curve. Take 345 all the way into Waddington, crossing over Rt. 37 (about 10 miles). At the River, turn left onto River Road. Stay on River Road for about 2 miles and turn right when you see the Boathouse.

From Burlington, VT
I-89 north to Exit 17, Route 2; follow signs to Grand Isle Ferry (daily, year-round); upon exiting ferry, Route 314 to I-87 south; I-87 south one exit to Exit 38; Route 374 west to Chateaugay; Route 11 south to Malone; Route 11B to Potsdam; Route 11 to Canton, left on Route 11 at the traffic lights by Stewarts (310 N). Follow 310 N for about 11 miles to the intersection of 345 by Madrid. Turn left onto 345, follow over the bridge and into the town of Madrid. Follow 345 by turning right in town. Just out of town, be sure to follow 345 as it makes a rather abrupt left curve. Take 345 all the way into Waddington, crossing over Rt. 37 (about 10 miles). At the River, turn left onto River Road. The park entrance is one hundred yards on the left.

From Rhode Island
Take Interstate Route 395 North. Follow until it turns into Route 290. Get off at Exit 21 (Plantation St.). Turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn left onto North Road (between the Mercandante Funeral Home and UMass Medical Center). Proceed to Lake Ave and turn right. The park entrance is one hundred yards on the left.
OR
Take Route 146 North. Follow to Interstate Route 290. Take Route 290 East and get off at Exit 21 (Pantation St.). Turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn left onto North Road (between the Mercandante Funeral Home and UMass Medical Center). Proceed to Lake Ave and turn right. The park entrance is one hundred yards on the left.
