About Template 4

This template has a black background across the entire screen. The width of the entire content area, which is the white area, is 960 pixels. There are two columns in this template; a small left column and larger right column.

Banner Image

An image can be added to the site header area, in this instance the image is 960 pixels wide by 333 pixels high. If you need help creating a banner, please contact Director of Visual Communications Cathy Brown.

Navigation Options

There are three options for displaying site navigation. Vertical, horizontal (as displayed on this page) and horizontal pulldown.

Headline Styles

There a several options for headline styles. Each of the headings on this page displays a different style. Normally, you would want to only use a couple of different headline styles on a page.

Module Styles

Four module styles are available. The default style, style 1, style 2 and style 3 each have different font colors and background colors. To change the style, edit the settings and click on the style tab.

Module Widths

The layout of a page can be modified by changing the width of a module. A module can be 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 or full width. Below are three modules that are each 1/3 width with a right margin of 18 pixels.

Adjusting Margins on a Module

As a default, there are no margins on any modules. You can easily adjust the margins of a module by editing the settings and adding margins to the top, bottom, right or left of a module. This module has a top and right margin of 18 pixels.

Style 1
