Bachelor and Bachelorette

Hometown: Brookline, MA.
Home on Campus: Milbank.
Major: Philosophy.
Turn On? I like athletic girls with nice legs.
Turn Off? “Mad Men” because of January Jones, Christina Hendricks and Don Draper.
What is your worst habit? Doing pullups on the pipes in the suites.
Lights on or lights off? Lights on because lights off would be a turn off.
If you had to describe yourself as the love child of any two musicians, which would you pick and why? I’d have to say Chris Martin and Beyoncé.  While Coldplay is my favorite band, and I love singing in falsetto as much as Chris Martin does, I also have Beyoncé’s range and fitness.
What advertising slogan best describes your life? “Here we go.”
What is your spirit animal and why? A Hippo because honestly, I was never that hungry, hungry.
If you were a food, which would you be and why? Ice cream.  I’m sweet, nice to look at and fun to eat.
What’s your favorite animal?  I am a huge puppy fan.  They’re adorable, understanding and invariably brighten your day.  Don’t believe me?  Two words: Corgi Stampede.
What would you say is your best feature? I’ve been told that I have a sultry, sweet baritone.  Don’t leave me “High & Dry,” ladies.
If you could break one rule at Hamilton and get away with it, which would you choose? Having pets in the dorms.  I think a dorm puppy would be a highly beneficial addition to our campus.  Unlimited puppy love, walking the dog helps students keep healthy and RAs have an ace-in-the-hole for attracting upperclassmen to programs.
What would you give a thumbs up? The Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Patriots and Mets.
What would you give a thumbs down? Yankees, Jets, Giants, Lakers, Canucks and Eli Manning.
Who would you say is your campus crush? I’d say anyone in the Hamiltones would be quite the handful in the bedroom.
What is the weirdest thing currently in your room? A child-sized, red beanie from Target.
What are three things you cannot live without? SportsCenter, Commons doughnuts and Coffee. I need SportsCenter because I need as many sports in my life as possible. I need Commons doughnuts because nothing consummates a fun weekend better than a fattening, decadent doughnut. I need coffee because I like the taste, it gets me through the day and, most importantly, I get to look cultured when I take a victory sip after making a point in class.

Hometown:  New Albany, Ohio.
Home on Campus: Eels.
Major: English.
Turn On? A good smile.
Turn Off? Douchiness.
What is your worst habit? Locking myself out of my room on a monthly basis.
If you were a dorm, which would you be and why? Ferguson: Classy and hard to get.
Lights on or lights off? OFF.
If you had to create a new points system, what would be the #1 offense? Ignoring people you know when you walk by them.
What advertising slogan best describes your life? “One man’s struggle to take it easy.” (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) It’s a movie tagline but it works.
What movie genre best describes you? Documentary, because I’m real.
What’s the best pick-up line you’ve ever used/had used on you? “I would like to extend to you an invitation to the pants party.” (Anchorman) Yes… this has been used on me.
What is your spirit animal and why? A Barracuda—they’re fierce and surprising.
What’s your type? Athletic and mature. But I’d take Ryan Reynolds, too.
If you were a food, which would you be and why? “I love my fishes ‘cause they’re so delicious, gone goldfishin’.”
If you were any social space, what would it be and why?  Babbitt Pavilion—because I like to be outside, and I’m craving warm weather.
If you could join one group on campus, what would it be and why? An a capella group—I love to sing but have a horrible voice.
What’s your favorite animal? Sea Otters.
What would you say is your best feature or quality? I’m quirky and fun.
If you could break one rule at Hamilton and get away with it, which would you choose? I’d make DU theater a weekly thing.
What would you give a thumbs up? Taylor Swift.
What would you give a thumbs down? Company names with two words that share letters, like “Petsmart”—Is it Pet Smart or Pets Mart? Also, Firstar Bank. Is it that hard to make it two words?
Who would you say is your campus crush? Virginia Walsh and Matt Langan.
What would your perfect date be? A Tom Petty concert
What are three things you cannot live without? My dogs, my figure skates and my “Friends” dvds.
