Students are always welcomed at our meetings! You are free to speak your mind and address any concerns you may have. We also have committees that are focused on certain aspects of campus life. You can definitely attend any of their meetings! Check out our committees page and email the committee heads if you are interested in getting more involved.
What does Student Assembly do outside of their weekly meetings?
Outside of the weekly meetings, the Student Assembly Central Council is constantly working on projects that pertain to the committees they are involved in. This can range from poster making to meetings with Hamilton faculty or other student organizations.
How can I use Student Assembly as a resource?
Student Assembly is meant to foster an environment where students feel comfortable enough to voice their opinions, concerns, or frustrations. It is meant to aid and fund club/organization activites that will benefit the student body as a whole. Student Assembly also acts as a liaison between the student body and administration. We want to ensure that students feel heard and cared for. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible and to cater to the needs of every student.
