Frequently asked questions

When and where does Student Assembly meet?

We meet 8:30PM on Mondays in the Sadove Conference Room. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings.

How can I reach out to the Student Assembly Central Council?

You can get in touch with the class representatives, treasurers, presidents, or executive board through email or in person. If you run into a Student Assembly member, don't be shy! Pose any question or offer feedback. They will be more than happy to answer questions you have!

What are ways I can get involved in Student Assembly without being a part of the Central Council?

Students are always welcomed at our meetings! You are free to speak your mind and address any concerns you may have. We also have committees that are focused on certain aspects of campus life. You can definitely attend any of their meetings! Check out our committees page and email the committee heads if you are interested in getting more involved.

What does Student Assembly do outside of their weekly meetings?

Outside of the weekly meetings, the Student Assembly Central Council is constantly working on projects that pertain to the committees they are involved in. This can range from poster making to meetings with Hamilton faculty or other student organizations.

How can I use Student Assembly as a resource?

Student Assembly is meant to foster an environment where students feel comfortable enough to voice their opinions, concerns, or frustrations. It is meant to aid and fund club/organization activites that will benefit the student body as a whole. Student Assembly also acts as a liaison between the student body and administration. We want to ensure that students feel heard and cared for. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible and to cater to the needs of every student.

Who can we speak to about issues or suggestions we may have for Student Assembly?

Any issues or suggestions that you may have for Student Assembly can be sent to our email: You are also encouraged to speak to any class representative, treasurer, president, or member of the Executive Board. We WANT to hear from you. Your feedback can help make this campus more of a home to you and your classmates!
