Crew teams win annual Mayor’s Cup in Tampa

While most Hamilton students slept in and relaxed during spring break, the men’s and women’s crew teams went to Tampa, FL for their annual spring break trip. The trip included two-a-days of rowing with morning practices at 6:30 a.m., followed by afternoon practices at 3 p.m. The rowing was the main focus of the trip, but the teams also had downtime, which they spent tanning by the pool and sleeping. First-year firepower complements senior stars for Hamilton men’s baseball

The Hamilton baseball team’s season has been mired in disappointment, but with a bevy of young talent, they can only get better. The Continentals finished up the Florida leg of their trip that ran from March 12 - March 22 with a 3-12 record in which their opponents more than doubled their run total. The Continentals gave up 122 runs while scoring only 58. The team and Coach Tim Byrnes have stayed positive because they know great things may lie ahead. More ...
