The men’s lacrosse team played on Saturday to celebrate the life of Alex Paganelli, who tragically passed away near the end of 2010. They sold T-shirts to raise money benefitting The Brain Injury Foundation of America. Hamilton beat 15th-ranked Trinity College, 9-7. More ...
The Hamilton College men’s golf team’s season culminates this weekend at Williams with a chance to qualify for the NCAA tournament. The men’s baseball team has valued having freshman pitcher Alex Pachella on the mound this spring. Although he started with the team pulling double duty as a shortstop and a pitcher, he switched over to full-time pitcher after the team’s spring trip to Florida. He is now the Friday game starting pitcher where he is 1-0 in three starts. Pachella holds an in-conference ERA of 1.88, giving up 19 hits, walking just two batters and striking out 14. Hamilton’s baseball team has struggled this season to the tune of a 6-23 record (2-7 in the NESCAC). However, the poor mark hasn’t stunted the development of the team’s young players. If there’s one thing outside of sports you should be allowed to beat with a bat, it’s cancer. The women’s softball team will participate in the “Beat Cancer with a Bat” campaign this year to help raise money for cancer research. The campaign asks softball teams from all over to donate money raised at one game, and the Continentals have chosen their game on Friday, April 27 vs. Williams at 5 p.m. on Ferguson Fields. More ...
