The International Students Association (ISA) at Hamilton College was established in 1977 and ever since its begining it has helped international students to adjust to the foreign environment which is to be their home for a part of their lives. Nonetheless membership has never been limited to international students. Any individual willing to participate in activities of the Association has always been more than welcome.

The organization has helped join many nationalities of the world, opening them up to each other and promoting their differences in order to reach a better intercultural and global understanding. Fascinating conversations have also led students to discover the many similarities between their ethnic and religious backgrounds. Anyone who has ever had a chance to meet representatives of at least one culture different than one's own has never been the same again.
